Rebuild America

Meetings

Welcome...

To the Ohio Board of Regents Rebuild America partnership Web site. Our agency is a Rebuild America partner representing 24 public higher education institutions in Ohio. Our goal for this site is to provide resources to assist partner campuses in their efforts toward implementing effective sustainable practices and energy efficiency projects.

Rebuild America is a network of community-driven voluntary partnerships that foster energy efficiency and renewable energy in commercial, government, K-12 schools, higher education, and public housing buildings. At the federal level, it is the largest, most established technology deployment program within the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). The program's goals are to: conserve energy, accelerate use of the best energy technologies, save money, reduce air pollution, lower U.S. reliance on energy imports, help revitalize aging city and town neighborhoods, and create “smart energy” jobs.

The Regents Rebuild partnership sponsors continuing education and training for facility managers and provides resources to promote effective facility management, smart building design, and the use of alternative fuels and clean power.  The Office of Energy Efficiency, a Rebuild America partner, is an important resource to Regents partners.
