Chancellor Fingerhut will participate in a televised panel discussion moderated by Fred Andrle with other panelists including Columbus City School Superintendent Gene Harris, The Columbus Foundation CEO Doug Kridler, and Ohio Department of Education Associate Superintendent Jane Wiechel in Battelle Studio at COSI. This year's theme, Connecting the Dots, hopes to stimulate discussion around a long term vision of building successful children into productive adults. Chancellor Fingerhut will participate in BGSU's Center Regional Development's 8th Annual State of the Region Conference that will offer insight into today’s turbulent economic climate. The Chancellor will provide remarks as a featured speaker in addition to Dr. Michael Carroll, the Director of the Center for Regional Development; John Magill, Chief Strategic Officer, Ohio Department of Development. Additionally, the conference will include a roundtable discussion with prominent business leaders to get their first-hand account of what it takes to successfully lead in today's challenging economic climate.
