Automotive supplier certifed in quality management
In September, 2005, the Haiss-Fabripart company made a decision to become certified in the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System. Stark State College was selected as the primary training source for this endeavor.

Power plant technology program at Rio Grande
A new program at the University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College is training area residents to work in power plants, and two American Electric Power (AEP) plants in the region are helping students afford to enroll in the program.
