Users Conference Survey

To help improve communication among HEI users, Regents staff are exploring the possibility of creating an electronic forum and/or an annual users conference. An electronic discussion forum would be located on the HEI Web site and would allow users to post questions and answers through a threaded format. For an example of such a forum, please visit http://www.gardenweb.com. The users conference is under consideration for this December. It would consist of a series of one-hour sessions presented by Regents staff, campus users, and invited guests. Please take a moment to fill out the Users Conference Survey so that Regents staff can determine the usability and suitability of these formats.

Course Schedule Listings

Most of Ohio's public colleges and universities list their current course schedules on the Web. For easy access to these schedules, simply visit HEI's new Public College and University Course Schedules page, located on the HEI front door.

New Restricted Outputs

HEI Web site users with restricted query privileges now have access to two more features. The Course Sections Query is available on a trial basis for all terms that have been finalized. Because of the size of this query, access is temporarily restricted to one institution and one term at a time. The other new restricted feature is a contact information list for HEI data reporters. Names, addresses, institutions, phone numbers, and files reported are all available for each data reporter. This service is meant to improve communication among campuses.
