Data Queries: General Information

Queries in Production

Course Inventory Query: displays detailed data about courses based on a number of selection parameters such as Subject Code and Level of Instruction. The query can be accessed through the Unrestricted Outputs link from the HEI Home Page. 

Student Enrollment Query: displays summary head counts of students enrolled based on a number of selection parameters such as Student Rank and Year of Birth. 

Course Enrollment Query: displays summary credit hours of students enrolled in courses based on a number of selection parameters such as Subject Code, Student Rank, and Year of Birth. 

All Employees Query: displays summary head counts of employees based on a number of selection parameters such as Work Category and Race/Ethnic Code. 

Student Mobility Query: displays concurrent enrollments and transfer/mobility activity between institutions. Drill down capability to SSN is awaiting approval from the HEI Advisory Committee.

Budget Data Reports: displays Unrestricted Current Funds budgets for each institution for FY 1999. The reports can be accessed through the Reports link from the HEI home page. 

Physical Structure Queries: one query will display detailed physical structure data and the other will display physical structure data summaries. 

Area Inventory Query: will display number of Areas (rooms), Total Assignable Square Footage, and Capacity based on a number of selection parameters such as Area Type and Subject Code. 

Degree Certificate Query: will display number of degrees and certificates earned based on a number of selection parameters such as Degree Level and Subject Code. 

Course Section Query: will display characteristics of course sections in various aggregations. The characteristics will include: number of sections, number of enrolled students, average class size -- including and excluding individual studies sections -- and number of instructors. The aggregations will include such breakdowns as: Institution Type, Institution, Campus, Year, Term, Off campus Course Sections, Regularly Scheduled Course Sections, Flexibly Scheduled Course Sections, Course Section Type, Subject Code, and Level of Instruction. 

Success Challenge Query: will display data concerning the baccalaureate degrees earned in the selected year relative to their credits for the Success Challenge subsidy. The query displays demographics about the student earning the degree and summary data on a statewide basis. 

Facilities Utilization Query: will display utilization of facilities in various aggregations. Utilization measures percent of time the facility is used in specified periods of time. Aggregations are in terms of scope of the facility, type of area, and in terms of time. Scope of the facility may be a room, building, campus, institution, type of campus, or statewide. Type of facility includes Room Type, Function Code, Physical Condition, and Functional Condition. Aggregations of time include any identified range of time with an identified start time and end time for any identified days of the week.

Faculty Survey Query: will display summary data taken from the full-time faculty survey conducted in 1998. The query can be accessed through the Unrestricted Outputs link from the HEI Home Page.
