Funding Unit Inventory (FI) File

Edit Rules for each Funding Unit Inventory (FI) Record
A. Execute all common edits
B. If Campus code does not correspond with Institution code in
header record
write Error 001 on edit message file
C. If Delete Switch is N and there exists a row in the Funding
Unit Inventory table for this Campus, Year, and Funding Unit
write Error 668 on edit message file
D. If Delete Switch is Y and there is no row in the Funding Unit
Inventory table for this Campus, Year, and Funding Unit
write Error 669 on edit message file
E. If Funding Unit is blank in first character position
write Error 667 on edit message file
F. If College is blank in the first character position and non
blank in any other character
write Error 666 on edit message file
G. If Delete Switch is not Y or not N
write Error 013 on edit message file
H. If there is more than one record in the data submission file
with the same Campus, Year, Term, Funding Unit, and Delete Switch current
year and term
write Error 670 on edit message file
I. If Delete Switch is Y and Funding Unit exists in Course Section
table for same campus and any term in the fiscal year
write Error 671 on edit message file
Error of Omission
J. If Institution in header record is equal to Institution column in Medical
Funding Unit table and submission does not contain a Funding Unit field
with a value equal to the Funding Unit in the Medical Funding Unit table
for Year field value equal to Year field in header record, and Term column
value equal to Term field in header with Delete Switch field value of N,
and Funding Unit in the Medical Funding Unit table does not exist in Fund
Unit table for Year in Fund Unit table equal to Year in Medical Funding
Unit table and Term column value in Fund Unit table equal to Term in Medical
Funding Unit table and Campus in Funding Unit table related to Institution
in Medical Funding Unit table
write Error 794 on edit message report
