Implementation Date	Description of Changes
May 10, 2003	HEI adopted its Subject Code taxonomy from the federal Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP). Mirroring federal reporting requirements for IPEDs, HEI will allow institutions to use CIP Codes from the old 1990 taxonomy and the new 2000 taxonomy for the period of Summer of 2003 till Spring of 2004. Beginning in Summer of 2004, HEI will only accept CIP Codes that are in the CIP Code 2000 taxonomy. All CIP Codes that did not transition to the 2000 taxonomy will be deleted from HEI verification tables.
March 2, 2000	Subject 120404, Electrolysis Technician was added to the table.
September 1, 1999	A column was added to the table to indicate the subject field for each subject title.
