| MEMORANDUM TO: Research Officers Council Research Incentive Data Reporters CC: HEI Liaisons FROM: Frank Tepe RE: Research Incentive Expenditure Claim Data for 2001 Submission The Ohio Board of Regents is currently redesigning the process by which you submit Research Incentive expenditure claim data. Because of this change, the data will not be due this year in October. We anticipate that the data submission process will be during December for the current year. The data format will be very similar to the format that you have used in past years, but we will be asking you to submit all data through a Web interface using the Higher Education Information (HEI) system. A copy of the data format can be found on the WWW at: http://regents.ohio.gov/hei/datasubdoc/financial/production/refile.html I will forward more information to you on how to submit these data and information on training dates for you and/or the individual submitting the data for your university as we get closer to the December reporting window. In the meantime, if you represent a public college or university, the individual submitting the data (the Research Incentive Data Reporter) will need access to submit these files. In order to get that access, that individual will need to contact the HEI liaison at your institution. Your liaison can go to their HEI account administration pages to assign access to you for the Research Incentive (RE) file.
