I am writing to clarify the rules concerning the Resident Credit Center (RC) file submission. This clarification requires no change on your part, nor does it change any processes on our part.
It came to my attention that the description of
what constitutes an RC course section differed in a couple places. Namely,
the description under the "Definitions and Descriptions of Data Fields"
in the RC
data submissions document said that Freshmen and Sophomore enrollments
in an RC section may not exceed 60% of total enrollment in that section.
The correct description and the actual rules in the edit programs were
that these enrollments may not be greater than or equal to 60%. If the
freshmen and sophomore enrollments were greater than or equal to 60% of
total
enrollment for that section, you would receive
Warning A59, which then told you that those enrollments exceeded 60%. We
have now changed the warning message to also note that the threshold is
greater than or equal to 60%.

If you have any questions or comments about the clarification, please let me know.
Thanks.
Jay
