| Memorandum To: IG and PA Data Reporters and Financial Aid Contacts From: Tom Rudd, Director of SGS Harold Horton, Director of HEI Date: October 5, 2001 Subject: HEI Query Page for the Ohio Academic Scholarship Program We are pleased to announce the new query page for the Ohio Academic Scholarship Program at https://hei.regents.state.oh.us/cgi/oas_elig_student_query_cgi This query allows authorized administrators to view individual or collective information on eligible scholars and to generate reports. This replaces the paper rosters that were mailed to you in the past. The advantage to you is immediate, controlled and customized documentation for you to review and distribute as you wish. Eligible scholars for this academic year can be viewed on this query by selecting 2001 from the "Academic Year Beginning" section of the query. We have given authorization to view this query to all current IG and PA data reporters who also have authorization for financial aid restricted outputs. They are now listed as data reporters for the AS file at http://regents.ohio.gov/hei/people.html Financial aid contacts may change this by changing a staff member's account relative to submitting the AS file and accessing financial aid restricted outputs. Within the next few weeks, you will be able to submit your Ohio Academic Scholarship payment requests through HEI, too. The new file, which replaces the paper process, is the AS file. If you wish to prepare AS files in advance, you may view the data submission document at http://regents.ohio.gov/hei/datasubdoc/finaid/asfile.html We will also be offering an option through the Data Entry Portal and will soon send you details on the AS Data Entry option.
